How do I arrange to view Holidaybreak Mobile Homes?
Mobile Homes are available to view on campsites at the end of the summer season and through the autumn. Give our sales team a call to discuss the possibility of going to view your Mobile Homes before confirming your purchase. >>>> return to top

Is it necessary to view Mobile Homes prior to purchase?
Yes: layout and designs of furnishings can vary from model to model, as can the level of wear and tear: with a choice of Mobile Homes available, why not take the opportunity to pick the best of the bunch! >>>> return to top

When are Holidaybreak Mobile Homes available to buy?
Holidaybreak Mobiles are available to buy between October and May each year, but many campsites impose a time limit for collection, after which extra storage charges will be incurred. You should therefore act quickly to ensure that you get the best Mobile Homes at the best price. >>>> return to top

Where are Mobile Homes available to buy?
We have a wide range of Mobile Homes available to buy from campsites across Western Europe: it is therefore likely that we will have Mobile Homes available near to the destination of your choice, allowing you to keep your transport costs to a minimum. How do I arrange transport of my Holidaybreak Mobile Home?
Whether you are going to use your Mobile Home as a personal holiday home or for rental to holidaymakers on a campsite, you will need to transport your Mobile Home away from the campsite it is currently situated on. Once your sale has been confirmed, your Mobile Homes will be prepared for transport by our staff and made available for you to collect. Please note that once purchased, Mobile Homes need to be collected as soon as the disconnection has been completed and the necessary paperwork has been provided. How much does transport cost?
The cost of transport depends upon the distance the Mobile Home has to travel, and its size. Here is a rough guide to help you:

€300 - €500 = Basic transport cost
+ €1.50 per kilometre
+ additional cost for crossing an international border – call us for a quote

  • It is worth noting that Mobile Homes in excess of 10’ wide need a pilot vehicle to escort them – this will add to the transportation costs.
  • 28' long Mobile Homes can be double-loaded: this can produce very significant savings if you have purchased more than one Mobile Home. >>>> return to top

Is my home a good investment?
With a relatively small initial outlay, you can expect to get a return on your investment within a very short space of time. As our homes are specifically designed with holidaymakers in mind you will soon be attracting a new clientele and increased revenues. >>>> return to top

What happens next?
Call us between 9am and 5pm Monday - Friday for a quote, to arrange to view a Mobile Home or just for more information about the models we have available. >>>> return to top

Buying a Mobile Home for your own use

What other costs are involved?
When purchasing your Holidaybreak Mobile Home you will have to take into account the costs of transport from the campsite to its final destination, as well as installation and annual pitch rental and site fees (typically around £3,000 per year). What exactly this covers will be made clear to you before purchase and you will sign a contract directly with the campsite or park. Your contract with the park will clearly state the fee and the payment dates that you must arrange to meet. Site fees can increase on a yearly basis, often if the site plans to improve their facilities, but you should always be given reasonable warning of any increases. >>>> return to top

What other services are required after installation?
You will need to connect your Mobile Home up to the water, electricity and sewage services on your chosen campsite. Our Mobile Homes are equipped for bottled gas but can be converted to mains supply if necessary. You will also need to purchase insurance for your Mobile Home. >>>> return to top

Where can I site my Mobile Home?
You can site your Mobile Home on any campsite that accepts owner-occupied homes: before you make your choice of site you should first check with the site owner about any restrictions that might be imposed, for example, many sites only accept pitched-roof models, or there maybe a maximum size restriction for your chosen pitch.
If you are buying a Mobile Home to put on your own land, during a house renovation for example, you will need to check with the local mayor that you have permission to site it here. >>>> return to top

Can we help you find a pitch for your Mobile Home?
We can’t help you find an emplacement for your Holidaybreak Mobile Home but if you have already found your ideal pitch on a campsite we can supply a Mobile Home from as little as €4,200. >>>> return to top

Is my Mobile Home a good investment?
Your new holiday home can also be a valuable source of income for you. Some sites allow you to rent it out whenever you choose: you’ll find that this can repay your yearly site fees - allowing you to stay 'for free' whenever you choose! >>>> return to top

How long will my Mobile Home last?
There is no exact limit on the life-span of your Holidaybreak Mobile Home, but with regular maintenance you can expect to get at least 10 years use out of it before it may need replacing. If you are buying a Mobile Home for your own use it is imperative that you check whether your chosen campsite has any restrictions regarding the age of Mobile Homes kept on site. >>>> return to top

What if my Mobile Home needs any repair work?
As with any second hand product, small amounts of wear and tear must be expected. All Mobile Homes come with a full 6 month parts guarantee so if you do have any problems within 6 months of purchase please don’t hesitate to contact us and we will endeavour to find a solution. >>>> return to top
